缘的寂静森林

自从知道有HKALL这种东西，我对HK大学的印象更是由衷地变好起来，哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈......

香港八所高校联网的图书馆系统效率之高，以至于我几天内借的书一半以上都是从外校运来的（估计每天都有专门的运输车辆在八校之间行驶，类似于某种logistics system，如果图书馆是warehouse的话），更难得的是——God，全是国外原版书啊，贵的要死的书啊......

图书馆的管理人员说，理大借不到书，可以从HKALL借，HKALL没有的，他们帮你从海外大学借，如果是不能借出的，他们帮你弄影印，anytime anywhere只需要你输入几个关键词，然后鼠标轻轻点击几下......总之就是，只有你不知道的，没有他们借不到的......

另外，从开学前的选课开始，到奖学金申请，到讲座预定，再到所有的课件，通知，作业......所有的东西都在PolyU Webmail和WebCT里进行。每天打开页面还有mynews里各种各样雷人的活动，比如今天这一则招聘信息——

Dear Students,

Hong Kong Police Force is launching a new round of recruitment with a view to recruiting Inspector.

A recruitment exercise will be held on PolyU Campus with the following details:

Date: 8 Oct (Wed)
Duration: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Venue: Room S210, Communal Building

An initial screening will be performed in the recruitment exercise.
